Morning: Introduction to Italian
Students are introduced to beginner-level Italian, including greetings, colors, numbers, and commonly used vocabulary. Through songs, games, books, stories, and crafts, students will be exposed to Italian and start to use the language themselves.
Afternoon: Robot and Circuits
Children will have the opportunity to interact and control different robots using devices such as iPods, iPads, and smartphones. They will learn firsthand the essentials for making a robot work. Every child will build a small robot that will illuminate from electrical circuits, which they will design and create. Motors skills and movement coordination will be developed in this unit.
