Our faculty and staff are the heart of La Scuola, creating inspiring learning experiences for our students every day.  Representing over 14 countries including Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Syria, India, Brazil, Ghana, Albania, Chile, Brazil, Turkmenistan and El Salvador, 45% of our team is of international origin with over 17 languages spoken.

La Scuola attracts talented individuals from around the globe who are drawn to the unique blend of International Baccalaureate, Reggio Emilia and Language Immersion philosophies.  Together nearly half of our team (48%) holds advanced degrees in their area of specialization and each contributes a distinct perspective to our students, families and colleagues.

La Scuola is the first IB-PYP, IB-MYP-authorized, Reggio Emilia, Italian Immersion in the world! Founded in San Francisco in 2002 as La Piccola Scuola Italiana, La Scuola has grown from a small playgroup of Italian-American and Italian families to a thriving international community of over 300 families from preschool through Grade 8.

We commit to being innovative and open to the changes in education that will allow our students to thrive in the 21st century. In addition, thanks to the close interaction with peers and teachers from all over the world, we are developing our students' cross-cultural awareness.

We're always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team of faculty and staff. If you don't see a role that fits your experience and would like to send us your resume to review, please email us at HR@lascuolasf.org. Grazie Mille!

La Scuola Employee Benefits
What Our Teachers Say...

"La Scuola is the reason why I moved here and it was one of the best decisions that I've made in my   entire life! La Scuola is a very unique space, where you can be yourself and you can find a warm and     welcoming community that supports you every time. Working at La Scuola is helping me grow in so     many different ways and I'll always be grateful for this opportunity. I rediscovered the joy of teaching, the   natural curiosity in researching and inquiring with the children and the richness of childhood. Embracing   the Reggio Emilia philosophy, La Scuola is a special place where children can find their personal ways to   express their ideas, theory and emotions and where they feel valued for that."

- Stefano - Preschool Teacher & Preschool DEIB Coordinator. Has been with La Scuola 5 years.
