Highlights: Campuses Safely Reopen for Summer Programs
Buongiorno La Scuola,
I’m speaking to you from our wonderful Dogpatch Campus where summer programs are open. It’s been amazing to have the children back both here and at our Mission Campus. Their excitement, their smiles, and their cheers have been incredible.
I want to tell you that this is a great way for us to implement the new guidelines that we will also be applying when we reopen the school in August. Yes, the plan is that we will be open. Our staff has been incredibly diligent in performing health checks and very frequent cleaning. We are all working very hard and if you hear some background noises it’s because we have all the windows open in all of our beautiful light classrooms.
We really want to thank you for being here with us. A school without children is a very sad place indeed. It’s been great talking with some of you on the curb because we missed the students, we missed you and this makes us even more excited to be back at school in August.
We are still waiting for further guidelines from the City of San Francisco. As soon as we get them, as always, we will share them with you. We have all the reasons to believe that preschool will be open as normal and it continues to be our intention to offer full-time learning on campus to all of our students.
With that, we are all in this together, we are grateful for your partnership and Happy Independence Day everyone. Talk to you soon.
Ciao and Grazie!
Valentina Imbeni, Ph.D.
