As La Scuola advocates for safe neighborhoods and school zones, we invited San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin to visit the Mission Campus this week to understand the critical message we are sharing. Valentina, Head of School, and Dani, Director of Administration, met with Boudin, as well as Cecily Brewster, Assistant District Attorney (also pictured), and Kasie Lee, Assistant District Attorney and Interim Chief of Victim Services Division.

Lydia Nichols-Russell, a representative from the Youth Stewardship section of the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, joined our all-school assemblea to discuss sustainable natural resources, conservation projects, and native California plants. She also shared youth volunteer opportunities in San Francisco Parks for Grades 5-8.
