Using just six notes, recently Maestro Carlo Dean worked with kindergartners to compose their own songs at home and then have them performed by their parents and siblings. Bravissimo!

Our incredible educators - Elisa B., Nora B., Alice M., Federica L., Valentina I. and Chiara F. - virtually hosted more than 800 teachers from Italy to share online learning experiences from teaching kids up to six years old. We have good news! In June, we will be welcoming Wladymir Paiva to La Scuola as our Director of Auxiliary Programs. Wladymir will be responsible for our Summer Program in addition to K-8 Extended Care and Enrichment Programs. He brings over 12 years of experience overseeing auxiliary, enrichment and athletic programs at Lycée Français de San Francisco and most recently as Academic Technology Coordinator at the French American International School (FAIS).   The success of La Scuola’s virtual gala on March 28 - the first of its kind - has created a blueprint for other schools across the country. Buongiorno La Scuola, I hope this finds you well. Like me, you’ve probably heard Gov. Gavin Newsom’s address to the State on Tuesday. Based on that and other considerations, myself and the La Scuola Board of Directors have decided to extend the closure of our campuses until the end of the school year.
