Summer Camp Information
As the first Reggio Emilia, International Baccalaureate Italian Immersion school in the world, La Scuola International’s Summer Camps are an extraordinary experience for children in Preschool and Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
The camp is divided into weekly thematic units led by La Scuola’s teachers and professionals with years of experience in each of the thematic units.
With bilingual educators leading the camp, participants will be exposed to an Italian environment, making use of this new language and using it as a tool for fun encounters! Camps engage students with hands-on projects and experiences as well as meeting people and places in San Francisco that fit within the weekly themes.
Since the camps are inclusive, campers have the opportunity for community building across grade levels; a chance for older students to act as mentors and younger students to learn from the leaders of our school. Each camp will offer an interdisciplinary educational experience that will develop lifelong skills.
Our rosters with the weekly themes are available below:
*We are piloting a junior counselor program for 6th-8th grade La Scuola International students.
This gives students an opportunity to be mentors for the younger ages, as well as learn how to set up, assist, and break down activities.
