La Dolce Vita

Every dollar given at La Dolce Vita, or LDV as it’s affectionately known, supports La Scuola students and staff – these funds are vital to our mission to educate academically, physically, and creatively. Monies raised at LDV fund our school for the following school year by supporting our ateliers in the visual arts, music, design, and environmental science, as well as our Sliding Scale Tuition Fund (SSTF). The SSTF allows families who would not otherwise be able to afford full tuition the opportunity to attend La Scuola, and enriches our school community by honoring diverse points of view and experiences that serve to create global citizens.

During LDV, the La Scuola community comes together to give back to the school we all love. 

More information on purchasing tickets can be found below, but please know that no matter where you’re sitting or with whom, you are sure to have a wonderful time! We know putting together a full table of 10 is not always realistic for new families who are still getting to know our community. Even attending as an individual or in a couple, we know you will have an amazing time and promise you will still get the full LDV experience!

We also encourage all families, including those new to our community, to support LDV through a donation to our online or live auction. There are a number of ways to contribute and we hope you’ll have fun thinking of items that the entire community will love! Please find more details below. 

There are two types of tickets you can purchase – either table tickets as part of a table of 10, or regular tickets as an individual or couple. Tables are on sale now! Early Bird individual ticket sales begin on Saturday, February 7, at 8:00 a.m. and run through Sunday, March 1, for a cost of $275*. Beginning on March 2, ticket prices will increase to $300. All ticket sales end on March 15.  

Ways to Purchase:

1. Purchase a full table of 10 for $2,750 (please note this will increase to $3,000 on March 15) for 10 guests seated together. 
2. Get your group of 10 together. Each member/couple in the group purchases their own table tickets. Select “Table Ticket” at purchase and add the names of all tablemates in the comment box. You must have a fully-formed table of 10 in order to purchase Table Tickets. 
3. Regular individual and couples tickets will be on sale beginning February 8. Please let us know in the comments if there are any specific guests or grade levels you would like to be seated with, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. 

*Sliding Scale Tuition pricing will continue to apply. Fair market value is $150 per ticket. 

Donating items for the online or live auction is a wonderful way to support LDV and ensure a successful event, as is attending the event and raising your paddle. 

• Do you have a favorite restaurant that you want more people to know about? Reach out and ask them to donate a gift card – or purchase one yourself that you then add to the online auction. 
• Are you a wine connoisseur that delights in helping people discover their new favorite bottle? Scour your shelves and donate a few special items from your collection. 
• Love to host, and always have ideas for a theme party or a fun group activity? Host a Count-Me-In! These unique events are curated by the La Scuola community, for the La Scuola community. Your event can be for your entire grade level, parents only, or a limited number of guests from throughout the community. Learn more here.
• Do you have a vacation home near or far that you’d love to see a fellow La Scuola family enjoy for a week or more? Share it with us!

Yes! There are several ways to sponsor the event:

• Event Sponsorships: Love craft cocktails? Sponsor the bar! Always posing for the camera? Sponsor the photo booth. Sponsors enjoy preferred table placement, VIP perks, marketing benefits, and more. Corporate and individual sponsorships are welcome. 
• Sponsor a teacher: We strive to include the hardworking La Scuola faculty and staff in LDV as much as possible. Purchase a Teacher Ticket to sponsor a member of the La Scuola team to attend. Please note that faculty and staff sponsorship tickets cannot be purchased for specific staff members, and will be pooled to support all staff. Please direct any questions to advancement@lascuolasf.org rather than to staff directly. 
• All sponsorships are fully tax-deductible. 

La Scuola is a community of change-makers. We don’t wait for the future we want, we create it. As we celebrate a milestone in our school’s history – the opening of our K-8, Reggio-inspired building in the Mission – we invite you to be inspired by the spirit of coloriamo il futuoro. Reflect the gioia we have added to the San Francisco skyline with bright colors, bold patterns, or any design that feels truly one of a kind – just like La Scuola.
