World-Famous Italian Writer, Musician Visits Mission Campus
Alessandro Baricco, a world-famous Italian writer, director and performer visited our 7/8 music and 5/6 Italian classes during visit on Friday.
Alessandro enjoyed an impromptu performance by the class and shared his passion for music and instruments. Students also practiced their Italian with Alessandro by asking prepared questions. With both classes, Alessandro shared his experiences watching the world transition into the digital age, the topic of his new book: The Game.
In 1993, Alessandro co-founded the Scuola Holden in Turin, Italy that hosts a variety of courses on narrative techniques including screenwriting, journalism, novels and short stories. Grazie mille, Alessandro!
